Connecticut's high cost of living affects all of us, from working families to seniors and small business owners. As your State Senator, I am committed to bipartisan cooperation, working with Democrats and Republicans to lower tax burdens and make our communities safer. I will champion our law enforcement officials and first responders, always putting you, the taxpayers, first. Your voices will be heard and respected.

My perspective in the State Capitol will be one of law and order, business-friendliness, and environmental responsibility. I am a conservationist, advocating for the responsible use of Connecticut's abundant natural resources. I will be a voice for sustainability, preservation, and public health. I also recognize that innovation, research, trades, and small businesses are the lifeblood of our economy, and I will work to support them.
We have a tremendous opportunity to create high-paying careers and fill available jobs, yet our small businesses and trade groups cannot fill tens of thousands of positions. I aim to use my decades of private sector experience to improve government efficiency, streamline the regulatory process, do away with unnecessary mandates, and reduce and eliminate government waste. Improving the business climate and saving tax dollars will grow our state economy and provide long-term tax relief to our residents. Residents should keep more of their hard-earned wages, and the government must live within its means. I am listening to you and will work collaboratively and tirelessly to improve everyone's quality of life.
I will bring my positive message directly to the people of our district and State. I look forward to listening to the voters from now until Election Day and beyond during my tenure as your representative in Hartford. From affordability to public safety to wasteful government spending, there are so many areas where we can improve our State's policies. My brand of leadership is straightforward and honest. I will appeal to Democrats, Independents, Republicans, and Unaffiliated voters of all ages, and I will work diligently to earn your support in November. As your State Senator, I will work in the General Assembly to:

Steer our energy policies towards preventing future hikes in electricity prices and reducing them over time. I will collaborate with legislative colleagues to lower energy costs for every family in our state.

Protect our state and national resources by safeguarding against the development of unreliable, intermittent energy projects funded by Connecticut taxpayers.

Support proactive policing policies.

Oppose granting unelected officials the power to unilaterally mandate policies and taxes on the use of commercial and residential fossil fuels, including gasoline, diesel, home heating oil, and natural gas.

Oppose crippling and costly mandates on small businesses.
